Description
Hotel design. The freedom of your own apartment.
The spa gardens begin at our front door. Open it in the morning and you stand among old trees; come home in the evening and what you hear, mostly, is nothing. Six suites, and a host who looks after the house herself – not a management company. Our guests rate that 4.9 out of 5.
Almost everything is within walking distance: the railway station 250 m (4 min.), Marienplatz square 350 m (5 min.), the Therme Bad Aibling thermal baths 750 m (10 min.). The clinics are close too: Klinik St. Georg 400 m, RoMed Klinik and Kurmittelhaus Egger 900 m each, the rehabilitation centre 1.8 km, Schön Klinik 2.1 km. Treatment there – recovery here. Park your car with us and leave it standing; bicycles go in the covered rack behind the house.
Suites 1, 3 and 5 measure 50 m², suites 2, 4 and 6 measure 34 m². Each has its own kitchen with fridge, hob, kettle and coffee machine, a box-spring bed with comfort topper, and a sofa bed. Suite 1 has a terrace with its own garden; all the others have a south-facing balcony – for coffee in the morning and sun in the afternoon. Suites 1 and 2 are on the ground floor with low-barrier access: two steps into the house, then everything on one level. Suites 3 and 4 are on the first floor, suites 5 and 6 under the roof. If you need more space, book a whole floor – up to seven people. Wi-Fi is included, dogs are welcome.
Bad Aibling has been Bavaria's oldest moor spa since 1845; the natural peat is used for rheumatic, joint and spinal complaints. Many guests stay the classic three weeks of an outpatient cure. Others are here to accompany a relative through treatment – and those are rarely easy weeks. The house is set up for that: your own kitchen, so you can eat when your day allows. A laundry room with washer and dryer, so no suitcase of washing travels home after three weeks. An invoice for your health insurer on request. From 40 nights, 15 % off.
You can arrive contactless with a personal code – even if the train was late and it has long since gone dark. If you would rather be met, we will gladly open the door ourselves.
Make yourself at home. Yours, Susanne Wild
Environment description
It all starts at our front door: the Kurpark is the first walk of the day. The station is four minutes away on foot, with trains to Rosenheim and Munich – your car can stay where it is. Bicycles go in the covered rack behind the house, and cycle paths follow the Mangfall into the Alpine foothills. The Wendelstein makes a half-day trip, Lake Chiemsee a whole one. In the evening you come back to your own apartment, not to a room. And if you are not sure where to go tomorrow – ask us. We live here.
About the host
Host: Susanne Wild and Family
our host: Susanne Wild and familyI have worked in tourism for many years, and it taught me one thing: what makes a stay special is not the furnishings, it is the feeling of being welcome. My husband, our two children and I travel a good deal ourselves – so we know how much a real home away from home is worth. When the chance came to take over the „Ferienwohnungen am Kurpark" from Mrs Astrid Heller, it was quickly clear to me: here I could bring together my love of hosting and my experience, in a place I am very fond of myself.I live here and I know the loveliest corners away from the main streets. I am happy to point you to my favourite spots: quiet walks, day trips worth making, and small finds in th
